HOURS: Our hours may be slightly different as we navigate this difficult time. Office hours will be based on need, staff availability, vulnerable patient times etc.

THEREFORE- If you would like to make an appointment please call 740-653-5390 to schedule as we will NOT be taking walk-in appointments at this time due to following CDC guidelines of social distancing. If you are unable to reach us by phone please text 740-473-6944.

•CHECK-IN/WAITING: As part of our efforts to follow CDC guidelines and practice social distancing we are asking that you text the word “here” to 740-473-6944 or call 740-643-5390 when you arrive and wait for instructions on when to enter the office. This will help us ensure proper social distancing and reduce your chance of unnecessary contact with others. This also allows us to properly clean between each patient.

• VULNERABLE PATIENT TIMES: If you are someone who is at higher risk for contracting COVID19, or taking special precautions (over 60 years of age, have health complications, pregnant & babies), we have set up special hours just for you. When calling to schedule your appointment, be sure to mention that you are in the vulnerable patient category so we can ensure you are scheduled in the designated appointment times.

•PRE-SCREENING: If you have a fever, cough, difficulty breathing or any other symptom related to COVID-19 or have been around anyone with these symptoms please cancel your appointment and contact your primary care physician.

• EFFICIENCY: One of the concerns with spread of any illness is in having to wait around in the vicinity of large groups of people. While we pride ourselves on trying to be efficient at all times, we are stepping up these efforts. This team is totally dedicated to giving you the care you need in an efficient and effective manner. We don't ever want you to feel rushed, but we also want you to feel safe and supported in your care. Dr. Nick is happy to answer any of your care-related questions via email, after your appointment, instead of during adjustment appointments, thus shortening appointment times and wait times. We ask that you please respect this request so that others are not kept waiting longer than necessary.

We have implemented several protocols in order to make our office as safe as possible. Some of these protocols include (but are not limited to):

  • Pre-screening questions before scheduling and at each appointment.

  • Call/text to check in.

  • Spacing appointment times so fewer patients are in the office at one time.

  • Each patient will be asked to use hand sanitizer or go wash their hands upon entering the office.

  • Taking patient temperatures upon arrival as well as each staff member at the beginning of the shift.

  • Increasing the frequency in which we clean surfaces such as countertops, door handles, etc. AND all patient equipment is sanitized after EACH USE.

  • We are also asking that you leave any non-essential personal items in your car to reduce the spread of germs.

  • We have temporarily removed all shared materials including kids’ toys, magazines, candy bucket, coffee pot, etc.

We know this is a fluid set of circumstances and we are constantly monitoring the situation. We will continue to update our policies when/if new information is released in order to be compliant with CDC guidelines and recommendations. Your health remains our top priority.

If you would like to make an appointment please call 740-653-5390 to schedule as we will not be taking walk in appointments at this time due to following CDC guidelines of social distancing. If you are unable to reach us by phone, please text us at 740-473-6944

In a time where hospitals and urgent care facilities are being inundated with sick people in need of life saving care, we continue to provide chiropractic care for neuromusculoskeletal conditions, reducing the need for these patients to spill into a healthcare system that we know will be strained in ways we have never seen before.

We also feel that providing chiropractic care for ALL essential personnel (EMTs, firefighters, LEOs, hospital staff, nurses, transportation workers, food service employees,  etc.) is crucial during this time. Thank you for trusting us with your health. We are honored to serve you and the people of our community.

Yours in health,

Dr. Nick Lewis
